Hey! I’m Trish—founder of Mahj in Bloom, certified instructor, and your personal hype woman for all things tiles, dragons, and Charleston slayage. I’m here to make learning American Mahjong feel less intimidating and a lot more fun.

I teach using real tiles, official NMJL cards, and a whole lot of encouragement. My goal? To help you feel confident at the table and totally obsessed with the game. I’ll walk you through the basics, help you build your confidence (and your hand), and have you tossing jokers like a pro in no time.

Bloom & Learn (Mahj 101 for Beginners)
A two-hour crash course that covers the essentials: get to know your tiles, decode the NMJL card, master line-building drills, learn to deal and Charleston like a pro, and end with a practice game to pull it all together.

From Bam to Bloom (Mahj 102)
Another two-hour session that picks up where 101 leaves off. We’ll do a quick review, then dive into strategy, decision-making, and gameplay confidence.

Most players take both—but you can mix, match, or repeat as you grow.
