Ready to learn American Mahjong? Mahj in Bloom is coming to The Hoosier Athletic Club for a private Intro to Mahjong created exclusively for club members.
We’ll take you from “What the heck do these tiles mean?” to playing a complete game. No previous experience is needed, and all game materials will be provided.
You’ll learn:
What the tiles mean and how to build the wall (game setup)
How to read the official National Mah Jongg League card
The Charleston and the flow of the game
Basic strategy for choosing and building a hand
